If Anyone Wanders

James 5:19(NKJV)—Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.

If anyone wanders from the Lord
Remind him how much God loves him.

If anyone wanders off into the wilderness
Remind him not to conform to the world.

If anyone wanders and forgets the Lord
Remind him who Jesus is.

If anyone wanders and thinks he is suffering
Remind him what Jesus did for him.

If anyone wanders into sin again
Remind him that God will forgive him when he repents.

If anyone wanders off the righteous path
Remind him that the spiritual journey is the best route.

If anyone wanders and loses hope
Remind him where his hope always came from.

If anyone wanders into trouble
Remind him whom he can rely on.

If anyone wanders and gets lonely
Remind him who wants to fellowship with him.

If someone wanders into a prison of his own making
Remind him where true freedom comes from.

If someone wanders from God’s truth
Remind him that God is all about love.

If someone wanders and goes off into different tangents
Remind him that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Tell him to wake up and read the Bible again because God’s Word is all truth and all he needs to find his way back to God the Father, Jesus His Son, and the Holy Spirit. Remind him why he should come back from wandering. He does not have to be lost any longer. Jesus is waiting.

Remind him that he is the one who left God, not the other way around. Maybe he will remember how wonderful it was to follow Jesus and realize the path he is traveling now is not where he wants to be. And remind him that his soul is at stake, and tell him where he will spend eternity if he leaves and wanders away for good.

Proverbs 21:16(NKJV)—A man who wanders from the way of understanding will rest in the assembly of the dead.

Psalm 56:8(NKJV)—With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from your commandments!
