The Bible is God’s Word. He speaks to us through His Word. “John 1:1(NIV)–In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.”
In this Scripture verse, God is telling us that Jesus is the Word. We know this because in the gospel, Jesus only said what the Father wanted Him to say. John 5:19(NIV):…”I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.”
He only speaks what the Father wants Him to say. When God said, “and the Word was God; He was speaking about Jesus and God said that the Word was God. The Father God, the Son Jesus, and God the Spirit are all one. That is one of the great mysteries of God that He wants to reveal to the ones who seek Him.
The Bible has been around since the creation of mankind. God inspired common men to write His words down. 2Timothy 3:16(NIV)–“All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousnesss that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” No one has ever been able to destroy His written word. God’s Word is Forever!
