God Will Never Fail Us

Zephaniah 3:17—The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.

God is love. He promised to never abandon us. No matter what happens to us and no matter where we go, we can never be lost to his love. It is a comfort to know that it is impossible to be separated from Christ. His death for us is proof of the unconquerable love. Nothing can stop Christ’s constant presence within us.

In Romans 8:37-39, the Scripture shows us how impossible it is to be separated from His love. [37) No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38) For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord]. He loves us unconditionally which we cannot describe or even fathom the extent. When we believe these overwhelming assurances, we do not have to be afraid of Him ever turning His back on us. He does not have it in Him—God is love—He is never changing so He always loves us unconditionally.

Psalm 34:15-16–15) The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry; 16) the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.

We need to believe and trust God because He is true and just. He protects His children, and the evil in this world will pay by His hand in His timing. Sometimes it may seem like evil people get away with their horrendous actions, but God is always in control. He has consequences for all of the unrepentant non-believers. You really need faith to trust Him.

God is constant and will never fail us. He is so faithful and true. He has promised to provide for us and to always be with us. We can trust Him with all of our hearts, our every moment of every day is important to Him. He wants to be involved with our daily lives. He wants to be included in our journey while we are here on earth. We all have a purpose to fulfill and He will help us every inch of the way, if we let Him. Live for Christ today.

Don’t Blame God

Ephesians 2:1-2(New International Version)—1) As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2) in which you used to live when you followed the ways of the world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.

Father God, people do not believe you are near when things are so bleak and dark. It’s hard for them to understand that if you are in control and always with us, then why do you allow all of the pain and suffering in the world? They are wondering why you are letting these disasters, wars, tragedies, and all the evil that is happening all around us. Terrorism is threatening our lives. People feel deserted, especially when tragedy happens to them.

People do not understand that it is not Your choice to let these things happen, Father God. You do not initiate these traumatic situations. It is about the free will that you gave each and every one of us at the beginning of time. You gave free will to Adam and Eve; and when you commanded them not to eat the fruit on the Tree of Knowledge, they chose to sin instead of obey You. Satan tempted Eve and that is when sin became a reality. You, God, gave us standards to live by—statutes, laws, and commandments; it is our choice to follow them or not.

Sometimes it is so hard for people to believe you exist. They wonder how could a merciful and loving God allow these things to happen? Where are you in all this? I wish people would stop blaming You. It isn’t your fault how some people choose to use their free will to hurt others. It isn’t your fault that the world makes up different belief systems.

Some people argue and say–“But God allows it.” That response always gets me. Yes, God allows bad things to happen, but I know God does not desert us. He turns tragedies and disasters and evil into good in His timing. He allows things to happen sometimes to bring us closer to Him. Sometimes when things are so bad they will choose God as their last resort. Hopefully that changes and people will start accepting God in their lives while the going is good. It goes against the gift of free will in the first place if He stops us from our choices. He is waiting for us to choose Him. He will not force Himself upon anyone. His ways are better than our ways, His thoughts are higher than ours. No one is supposed to understand everything, that is where our faith comes in.

Romans 11:33-34 (Amplified Bible)–33) Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unfathomable (inscrutable, unsearchable) are His judgments (His decisions)! And how untraceable (mysterious, undiscoverable) are His ways (His methods, His paths)! 34) For who has known the mind of the Lord and who has understood His thoughts, or who has [ever] been His counselor?

Isaiah 66:4 (Amplified Bible)–So I also will choose their delusions and mockings, their calamities and afflictions, and I will bring their fears upon them–because when I called, no one answered; when I spoke, they did not listen or obey. But they did what was evil in My sight and chose that in which I did not delight.

Isaiah 55:8-9 (Amplified Bible)–8) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord. 9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.

Satan is the ruler of the air; he is responsible for all evil and the temptation of sin in this world.God has no evil in Him. God is Sovereign and He has the last say. Always remember, Jesus defeated death when He died and was resurrected. He has victory over Satan and we will always be the winner when we choose God. God is always in control. It is our free will that changes His predestined plans. Choose God–don’t blame Him.

Do you ever blame God for your life’s situations? Your tragedies? Your failures? Why? Do you thank Him when everything is going great? Please join me in a discussion on how you feel about this subject. Thank you for listening.

Comforting Others

A Poem written By Susan Smith-Allen

Comforting Others

When you were down and blue,

God always comforted you.

So when you see a hurting friend,

you only need to lend

a helping hand out to them.

When they have a problem,

remember they are important to God, too,

and He will comfort them through you.

All it takes, on your part, is a little effort

so you may be of some comfort.

To someone in need

You will be a friend indeed.

When someone is troubled,

their problems seem doubled.

Then you reach out

To who is in doubt.

It helps for you to be there

when all they have are tears.

When you comfort and console,

that person will again feel whole.

You’ll give them courage

As you continue to encourage.

God will help you comfort others

As you treat them as sisters and brothers.

When it is a stranger,

don’t think of the danger.

Think of helping him

no matter how grim

It looks like to you.

God knows what to do.

There will always be a patrol

because God is in control.

He would not have

placed him in your path

if God knew He’d have

to use His wrath.

There is always someone

who thinks that everyone

Knows they have a problem.

Then it’s best to let them

come to you; but don’t wait too long.

Always be ready

and also be friendly.

You will know what to do

because God will help you

(save them from themselves).

Just think; this might even begin

their lives of being born-again.

God will send people to you

for you to comfort,

as He had done for you.

2 Corinthians 1:3,4—Blessed be the God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Psalm 139:3—You chart the path ahead of me and tell me where to stop and rest.  Every moment you know where I am.
